Intel HD fails in Win 10, but An Nvidia card works.
If you are on the Insider Program then, as I posted, Microsoft have broken the Feb 2017 update and if you have downloaded this broken update then, as has happened in the past, it is quite possible that Intel HD drivers are one of the broken parts of the update.
If a part of Win 10 suddenly fails it is often related to Microsofts updates which Win 10 seems to be strangely untested. At least Microsoft have picked up on Feb 2017's disaster before it was widely released.
Thank you for your uninformed personal abuse, it clearly demonstrates how wrong I am about considering you to be a complete idiot.
FYI, here's a post from Microsoft saying we have broken things and the Feb Win 10 update will not be released until we can fix it.
The Australian, Win 10 is wonderful and never goes wrong......
Yes, they are generally stupid, too many Dropbears bites is how we in NZ try to explain away their behaviour.
Just remember that they actually lost the Emu War, a bird with the brain the size of a walnut defeated the Australian Army.......
And they wonder why we have turned down becoming an Australian State for many, many years.
Well stop it, doesn't your PM do it enough for all of you ?
But seriously, there are some hardware issues with Win 10 still, which seems strange considering how long it's been 'live' for.
It's great for techs who get paid to resolve these issues though. I don't get anything like this number of Win 7 problems.
Shame I didn't tell all my clients to update to Win 10 as it's so awesome..........
At least it raises user numbers. I tried to argue that this should be locked down and hackers banned but it seems to be fine for hackers to post on this forum and complain about the game.
One of the few examples of an official game forum embracing hackers. WTF ????
Clearly the Dev's only want to shut down other conversations on the forum.
I realise that Australians are generally incapable of reading, try to learn how, read my above post, then say something that demonstrates that you have read the post you are commenting on.
It is well known however that Win 10 and Intel HD Graphics have had numerous issues. When Win 10 was released many Acer and HP laptops with Intel HD Graphics would black screen under power, however work when on battery.
After discussing this with Acer NZ, they said to roll back to Win 8.1 as it was a BIOS issue with Win 10 and their hardware.
Win 10 has had several further issues with certain hardware since then.
Please attempt to understand the issues Microsoft have been having with Win 10 before publicly molesting yourself over how awesome Win 10 is and how it never has hardware issues just after an update...
At least this month they picked up on this...
"This month, we discovered a last minute issue that could impact some customers and was not resolved in time for our planned updates today.
How can anyone disagree with your grasp on reality.
Yes, that is my point, tyre physics is VERY hard to get right in a sim, actually, impossible. All that can be created is an illusion of 'feels right' and now you need to add electronic real world 'feels right' to a sim virtual tyre physics of electronic 'feels right' handling .......
XF GTR 230 BHP - FWD and with slicks
UF GTR 180 BHP - FWD and with slicks
Oh yes, I am so looking forward to a 200 BHP FWD on road tyres, be still my beating heart.......
Now, as I said and you clearly didn't try reading, new tyre physics - AWESOME.
EDIT: Re-Read, cruise servers, you really want a new car to cruise with............
Well, clearly you don't want to drive a race car then, try the UF1, it's designed for cruise servers.
200BHP is far to much power for Cruise Servers.
"Some say it is an icon reborn. Others, that it is Volkswagen shamelessly pillaging its back catalogue. A couple even postulate it is simply a Golf GTI in a little black dress."
"All but base ‘Rocs get VW’s excellent adaptive chassis control, which has three settings and adjusts throttle response, steering and damping. And it works a treat. You still get the same VW driving vibe – sure-footedness, accurate steering, plenty of grip – but it’s basically 25 per cent better than the GTI. Little body roll and crisp turn-in make this a proper driver’s tool, without actually making you look like one."
So, given the level of electronics, 'Adaptive chassis control' that 'has three settings', my question is this, how is this to be modeled in LFS ?
Yes, an awkward question but still, if you want to model a 'Real World Car' then this electronic stuff is a part of all cars now. PHUQ, even bikes have traction control, ignition maps, etc all available as a handlebar selection.
Tyre physics seem a bit old school when you have multiple suspension, drive train, engine choices available on the ECM.
"Hanggai Band (杭盖乐队) is a Chinese-Mongolian folk rock band from Beijing who specialize in a blend of Mongolian folk music and a variety of styles such as punk rock. The members of Hanggai Band come from diverse backgrounds with singer Ilchi having once been the front man of punk band T9. These eclectic experiences have come together to give Hanggai Band a particularly unique sound blending Mongolian folk music with more popular forms such as punk. In an interview with Spinner, Ilchi stated that amongst the group’s many influences, Western artists such as, "Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Secret Machines, Electralane and Neil Diamond…" have played a large role in shaping the band’s music."
In an interview with Gabe Newell, Geoff Keighley asked the developer if fans would eventually see the release of a third installment to the iconic title.
Newell then replied by saying that the only reason for Valve to ever go back and develop on a classic product is if a handful of their team suddenly decides that they want to do it with a reasonable explanation of doing so.
The Scirocco on the other hand................
(And thanks Scrawen for the reply )
Shia LaBeouf gets arrested for assaulting someone on his 'Live?' stream 'protest?' about Trump becoming President.
For 5 days this tosser and his Special Snowflake Idiot mates have been chanting 'He will not divide us' ad nauseum because........, unfortunately however, disagreeing with Captain Snowflake results in him physically attacking you, (cus, famous Hollywood actor and Hillary supporter means your an untouchable Special Snowflake,) this was also filmed on his live stream protest, which seems a bit divisive to me, maybe the irony is lost on these tossers.....
Seriously, watch this, it's hilarious, just watch the 'Snowflake Generation' in 'action' https://youtu.be/2tYVrFDxcDY
Watch the vid to see this 'woman' saying that stopping online child sex advertising is against 'Free Speech'....
Want to know the Clintons involvement with Haitian pedo groups ??
"Silsby is the former director of “The New Life Children’s Refuge.” She was caught trying to kidnap 33 Haitian children, most of whom had families. By following the trail of declassified Wikileaks emails the social media blogger discovered that Huma Abedin was “constantly forwarding emails to Hillary Clinton” about Laura Silsby’s organization.
The blogger also linked Clinton emails to an attempt to protect Laura Silsby from prosecution."
The discovery also included Wikileaks emails from Hillary Clinton, the content of which reveal Clinton contacting a lawyer regarding ten people arrested involved in the child trafficking ring. It was also revealed that the lawyer who represented Silsby was a convicted child sex trafficker.
Second hand is probably your only legit choice now, allegedly Games Planet have it but it doesn't seem to be listed, at least I can't find it.
The IP: Get a comfy chair as this is a bit long.
"IP: This was developed by Warthog Studios. Warthog was sold to Gizmondo, along with the IP for RBR. The game was released on the Gizmondo by the developer "Gizmondo Studios Manchester". Gizmondo went out of business, and Carl Freer, founder of Gizmondo, claimed to have purchased Gizmondo's IP assets from the liquidation of the company. I assume the owner of the IP is Carl Freer if he is telling the truth (if you know anything about Carl Freer and his Gizmodo partner Mikael Ljungman, than you know this is a BIG if).
Publishing rights: SCI Games owned the publishing rights, and was the publisher for both the PC release from Warthog Studios and the Gizmondo release from Gizmondo Studios Manchester. SCI Bought Edios and released all games as Edios from that point, then Square-Enix bought Edios (SCI). The terms of this publishing deal is unknown, but I would assume the publishing rights probably have expired and there is no holder of publisher rights for RBR at this time.
Car / personality rights: No one is privvy to these deals either, and I really don't know how they normally work. My assumption is that the cars were licened to be used in the game, and if there were to be a new publisher, they could publish the original game without having to relicense."
So, no one seems to know who actually owns it or if the 'Richard Burns' and the cars IP rights are still valid.
Rules, limitations and traditions are anathema to the Architect personality type – everything should be open to questioning and reevaluation, and if they see a way, Architects will often act unilaterally to enact their technically superior, sometimes insensitive, and almost always unorthodox methods and ideas.
“You are not entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to your informed opinion. No one is entitled to be ignorant.”
Harlan Ellison
That's what it told me.
I'm clearly officially an arsehole according to this.
But right....
"Architects trust their rationalism above all else, so when they come to a conclusion, they have no reason to doubt their findings. This creates an honest, direct style of communication that isn’t held back by perceived social roles or expectations. When Architects are right, they’re right, and no amount of politicking or hand-holding is going to change that fact – whether it’s correcting a person, a process, or themselves, they’d have it no other way."
